Un(re)solved

Un(re)solved, an augmented reality installation exploring and commemorating the lives of over 150 victims of racially motivated murder, needed to travel to multiple cities, work indoors or outdoors without electrical access, and be assembled and disassembled repeatedly.
Hudson Scenic Studios worked with creative director Tamara Shogaolu of Ado Ato Pictures and initiative sponsor PBS to prototype and build a "living quilt" of printed fabric panels and QR codes sandwiched in edge-lit acrylic, mounted on a quilt-motif steel support structure, with a custom battery-powered LED lighting solution so the installation could run at any time of day, without on-site power.
