Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Disney Imagineering set out to build an entirely new world for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, anchored by Rise of the Resistance, a first-of-its-kind immersive dark ride whose hangar bay had to feel real up close while meeting each park's structural and code requirements. 

Hudson Scenic Studios joined as a design assist partner, translating concept art into detailed drawings and determining the most cost-effective construction approach without compromising design intent. Our team then engineered, built, finished, and delivered the steel structures, ceilings, and themed cladding with integrated lighting fixtures, coordinating with each park's building systems to deliver the same detailed environment on both coasts.
