Prism

At Edge NYC, visitors move through Prism surrounded by mirrored, faceted surfaces that catch and scatter light in every direction, a sequence of immersive, reflective spaces designed by Moment Factory to feel different depending on the hour. Delivering that effect meant every one of those panels had to be perfectly aligned across each faceted surface, inside a fully operational attraction rather than a blank venue, with new structure bolting directly into surrounding walls and ceilings that couldn't be adjusted once installed.

Hudson Scenic Studios engineered, fabricated, finished, and installed Prism's structure across its zones, beginning with an on-site laser scan and GPR survey to capture the venue's exact dimensions before a single panel was cut, so the build could go from Hudson's shop straight into place with no second chances. Full-scale mockups in the specified mirror and fascia materials confirmed the look and fit before commitment, and steel waterjet mounting plates were built in to carry video and lighting equipment exactly where the drawings called for. That precision blends architecture, media, and light into one seamless experience.
