Dane Laffrey's 2025 Tony-winning scenic design for Maybe Happy Ending called for a single, continuous 100-minute sequence of scenery in constant motion: modular apartment pods that lock together and reset instantly, neon-lined iris panels that track and fly in and out of the stage floor, and 450 LED tiles built into the scenery and floors to read as one continuous image.

Hudson Scenic Studios engineered, built, and automated the deck as one synchronized system running on Hudson Motion Control, combining a ring revolve with a 10-foot central lift and push-chain deck tracks so every element moved in sync and reset instantly for the next show.
