Dance Fever Tour

For the 23-stop North American leg of Florence + the Machine's Dance Fever tour, designer Es Devlin envisioned an antique ballroom of fabric-draped props and crystal chandeliers beneath a massive flying header frame, everything meant to look touched by age and decay while surviving six weeks on the road.
Hudson Scenic Studios custom-built and scenically aged the 15-by-30-foot header frame and 78 linear feet of matching stage fascia, integrated wireless DMX-controlled lighting into 18 chandeliers and more than 120 designer-supplied props, and finished each piece to hold up through nightly two-hour sets.
